Well Doug, after re-reading your write-up I feel envy all over. I must say that I am very fortunate to have and idea of exactly where your drive took place and I couldn't help but imagine what it must have felt like. That truly must have been an experience. I may be old-school, but I'm just not sure how well I'd adjust or even like a paddle shifter as opposed to the trusty old manual on the floor. Then again I've never had a chance to drive something with a paddle. And considering the amount of power and torque the DB9 owns, I guess who the #$%@ cares. Great article!!!
