2007 Porsche 911 GT3 RS

Carrera White with Black Full Leather. Well optioned car with a known and documented history. 

Carrara White is a rare color for the 997 RS, and it has an interesting backstory. Originally, the only colors offered for the RS were Orange, Green, Black, and Silver, even though white was a standard color on the GT3. After being petitioned by numerous Porsche clients, the factory acquiesced and offered Carrera White as an optional color - with a $4315 upcharge. Unlike the other colors which automatically came with contrasting wheels, graphics, mirrors, and wing end plates, the white cars came standard with silver wheels, no graphics, body color mirrors, and black wing end plates. Many buyers, unaware of this nuance in the order guide, would buy the graphics from Porsche separately and have them installed after delivery. Only 71 Carrara White GT3 RS's were delivered to North America during the two year production run.

This particular car was delivered new through Champion Porsche to Mr. Minkin, who sold the car through Switchcars in January of 2009 with 1242 miles on the odometer to Mr. Gladfelter in Arkansas. We contacted him in June of 2012 and were able to buy it back, now with about 3800 miles. After servicing it at Porsche of North Olmsted, we sold it to a local client here in Ohio, who actually put a few miles on it and then traded it in to Porsche of Beachwood in early 2013. They sold the car as Certified Pre-Owned with 7804 miles to their buyer in North Carolina, from whom we have now acquired the car once again!

It is completely original paint, verified with a paintmeter, except for the front bumper which was repainted (by the fourth owner) to correct a blemish that had been on the car since 2010, but was so minor that nobody else bothered to address it. The car has extensive clearbra coverage over all vulnerable panels, including the entire front hood, fenders, A-pillars, rocker panels, rear fender, mirrors, the leading edge of the roof, and inside the wheelwells. We recommend having new clearbra installed as it is beginning to show its age and fade slightly - we have a great installer here who does the Xpel Ultimate protection if the new buyer would like that to be done prior to taking delivery.

The previous owner had the front crank seal and rear main seal replaced, as well as a new starter, all of which was covered under the CPO warranty. Since the motor was out to replace the seals, he had the coolant lines welded. This was performed at Beechmont Porsche in July of 2014. 

This RS is an incredible example that is virtually blemish-free. The ECU readout is clean with only a whisper in range 1-2. It is completely up-to-date on maintenance. It is all stock with the exception of the Porsche OEM side graphics, a GMG center muffler bypass (stock center muffler included), WEVO engine mounts (originals included), and the Euro clear side markers. Included with the sale are service records, CPO paperwork, original window sticker, laminated Proforma, all books, tools, two keys (one with the factory leather pouch), and a Porsche car cover.
