While the 240D was never deemed as fast, they are comfortable, well-built, and live up to the reputation of Mercedes of the era as being bulletproof German tanks. This particular example is special for three reasons - one, it's a European model, which has less smog equipment, smaller bumpers, and an extra 9hp over the US model. Two, it is an incredibly rare 5-speed manual. Three, look at the low mileage and condition! WOW. Call us now to add this classic to your garage.

The Panoz AIV Roadster is an all-american lightweight roadster with European roots. The Panoz family purchased the rights to a defunct sportscar manufacturer in the late 1980s, and after much retooling and essentially a start-from-scratch redesign, the Panoz Roadster was born. The first iteration was stainless steel and utilized a 5.0L Ford V8 and did not come with any top, radio, heater, or air conditioning. In 1996, the AIV, which stands for Aluminum Intensive Vehicle, was born. It used largely the same styling as the first-gen roadster, but the car was now 70% aluminum, weighing in at only 2500 pounds, and a new 4.6L 32-valve aluminum V8 from the Mustang Cobra was shoehorned in, bumping the power up to 305bhp. Additionally, they created a surprisingly easy-to-install top with side curtain windows, plus luxury amenities like a radio, heat, and air conditioning. They were hand assembled in Braselton, Georgia, and to this day remain as one of the most unique American cars ever produced. A total of 176 AIV Roadsters were sold to the public during the 3.5-year production run. Unlike most limited production hand-built sports cars, these are actually incredibly reliable, simple to maintain, and are very pleasant to drive. Parts are easy to source given that it is mostly Ford components. Many critics of the Plymouth Prowler say that this is what the Prowler should have been.
This particular Roadster is finished in Red/Tan, and as with all 1998s, has the Roush 5-spoke wheels. All books, two keys, Panoz car cover, and Panoz leather storage case for the top components are all included with the sale. The top and top components are all in excellent shape and fit properly. It is original paint and has a clean Carfax and no stories. We just mounted brand new tires and had the fluids changed and A/C serviced in addition to a thorough checkover and servicing of all needed items in preparation for sale. According to our database, the red examples make up about 23% of overall production, but it is unknown the split between black and tan interior.
The most recent comparable sale was April 2019, where another 15k mile Red 1998 Roadster (1P9PA1822WB213008) sold for $44,000 at Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach. Another red 1998 (1P9PA1820WB213038) with black interior and 24k miles sold through Mecum Harrisburg in August 2019 for $32,450, but we inspected that car and it was in below average condition, with mismatched, old tires, prior paintwork, and notable corrosion present.

Just in! Low mileage 1990 Porsche 964 Carrera 2 Cabriolet in a 5-speed manual, finished in striking Black over Tan interior, a nice departure from the very common Guards Red of the era. This car came to us from the owner of more than 20 years, having purchased it back in 1997. He drove it sparingly and performed most of the maintenance himself, and it has been a very reliable and enjoyable car for him. In preparation for sale we had a full inspection performed at Steinels Autowerks, an air-cooled Porsche specialist. This inspection can be viewed in PDF format on our website. The leakdown and compression numbers are consistent and strong, and they noted this is a healthy motor. All accessories work properly, the A/C blows cold, the radio works, and the top works without hiccups.
Carfax notes an accident with damage to the rear in September of 1993, the details of which are unknown. Our paintmeter shows higher than factory readouts on the rear decklid, fenders, and doors, with what looks to be blending into the front fenders, and factory readouts on the front hood and cowl. Paint finish is consistent and appears to have been performed at a high standard. The interior is very clean and overall condition is consistent with the low mileage.

2012 Porsche Carrera 4 GTS Coupe with PDK transmission. Finished in Basalt Black Metallic with black leather interior, this GTS is rare in that it does not have the standard Alcantara interior but was optioned with the Full Leather seats in order to accommodate the Ventilated Seats option. It has been serviced regularly, and has had only two owners from new. It had new tires installed in 2016. While Carfax does mention a prior accident with front end damage, the airbags did NOT deploy, indicating it was minor damage. We inspected the car and put a paintmeter on it, and the car measures all factory thicknesses with the exception of the front bumper cover and the front trunk cover which were replaced, and what appears to be some clearcoat blending on the leading edge of the front fenders. This is a fantastic driver that bridges the gap between the somewhat soft Carrera S and the raw and loud GT3, blending comfort and performance in a sporty package. Car includes all books, two keys, and service records from 2014 through present.

The 918 Spyder edition Turbo S Cabriolet was available for ordering only by Porsche VIPs who had also ordered a 918 Spyder, and as a result are extremely limited. According to our sources, only 43 were brought to the USA, 21 of those being Cabriolets. The car is adorned with Acid Green trim on the interior and carbon fiber abounds inside and out. It was just serviced to the tune of $6500, including brand new tires, in order to prepare it for the next owner. This is a solid, needs-nothing car with only minor cosmetic flaws consistent with the mileage and detailed out in the photos.
