Vehicle Description

This 1961 Fiat Abarth 750 Record Monza will be auctioned NO RESERVE as part of the Chuck Stoddard collection on Bring a Trailer. The auction runs Nov 4-11.

It was born a 750 Record Monza with a 750 pushrod engine. Les Burd, famed Abarth expert, rebuilt the engine to a 1000cc Bialbero - Twin-Cam - specification during his ownership and extensively restored it before showing it at the Pebble Beach concours in 2003. Chuck Stoddard purchased the car in 2005 and after his purchase Chuck installed 5-speed transmission, front disc brakes, updated ignition, new shift linkage, and aligned and corner balanced the car. He went through the car mechanically and took copious notes as was his pattern. The car is documented extensively and presents in beautiful condition today.
