2005 Lotus Elise

2005 Lotus Elise with only 13,320 miles. This Elise has a 6-speed manual transmission, a factory hard top and soft top, touring package, metallic paint, and star shield. This is a 2 owner car with the original owner being an older lady who never drove the car hard. The second owner purchased it in 2018 with 9,500 miles on it and had a DME/ECU dump done on it when purchased from Lotus of Greenville SC. The report showed no over revs, and a top speed of only around 80mph. At that time the dealership replaced the steering wheel bushings due to slop/flex.
After purchase the oil was changed with Mobil one full synthetic. It also passed the “cam wipe” inspection with flying colors. It’s important to make sure car is fully warmed up before revving it over 5k and some people don’t which causes cam lobe wear.

In June of 2019 the vehicle was serviced by Pannell Motorcars of Atlanta. They pulled front clamshell, replaced radiator with all an aluminum unit. They also replaced front radiator hoses, and replaced the factory (wimpy) horn with a loud Steibel Nautilus horn.

In July of 2019, new factory Advan tires were installed and the alignment was checked. The oil was changed with Mobil one full synthetic at 11,000 miles

The factory touring wheels have some imperfections (see pictures), mostly on the front right and left rear. The metallic blue paint looks amazing and has no major imperfections. The factory star shield (clear bra) was recently removed on the front bumper to repair and paint the front lip due to the lip being scraped when putting the car on a trailer for transport.
