21 Help me find a car ![]() Check out this iconic Mopar! Released in 1997 to rave reviews, the Prowler was sold out and on a waiting list status. In 1997 purple was the only available color, and for 1999, the second year of production, Plymouth offered additional colors including Yellow, which was the rarest of the standard Plymouth colors (Red, Yellow, Black, Purple, Silver). In addition, they bumped the power from 214hp to 243hp, and added other improvements including speed-sensitive volume control. This car is in all original condition including the original tires. www.switchcars.com Price: SOLD ![]() 1962 Porsche 356B 1600 S Cabriolet T6 - Incredibly well-documented example with original motor and transmission. Produced 6-27-1962, this cabriolet was originally outfitted in Champagne Yellow with black leather interior. In 1987 the car was repainted to the current red color. The original motor #702956 is still in the car, and in 1999 was treated to a complete refresh by noted specialist Sports Car Factory of Thompson, Ohio. The mileage at the time was 136,900. This car has extensive service and ownership history dating back to 1970, and has been in Ohio in the hands of a single owner from 1981 until just last year. While the mileage is recorded consistently in the receipts, and we believe it to be original, the vehicle title shows non-actual mileage. It appears that the car crossed the 100k mark early on in its life, but then was only driven an average of 1k miles per year from 1980-current. In addition to the stack of service records included are the Certificate of Authenticity, verifying the matching numbers, the original Owner's Handbook and Service Manual, and the original Driver's Manual. Cosmetic condition is good to excellent inside and out, with no rust or corrosion issues. Mechanically the car is completely sorted, which is no surprise given the impeccable maintenance schedule of the previous owner. The car drives incredibly well, and to our knowledge needs nothing to go enjoy. www.switchcars.com Price: SOLD ![]() This is a great opportunity for a matching-numbers 356 SC for the buyer who wants a mechanically fresh car to enjoy and drive. The SC for 1964 came with a 90-hp 1600cc motor with dual Solex carbs. The car has come to us from its most recent owner of 13 years. It left the factory in Signal Red, but was refinished to the owner's taste about 10 years ago in its current color. The car also had comprehensive rust repair and undercoating performed at the time of the repaint, including a new driver's side floor pan. The color is beautiful, but the paint job is best described as driver quality and does show some flaws. www.switchcars.com Price: SOLD ![]() We have just acquired this very original and late production 1965 Porsche 356C 1600 Reutter Coupe from its owner of almost 25 years. Finished in Signal Red exterior over Black Leatherette with just the single option of Ventilated Chrome Wheels, and unmodified from original specification. The vehicle has the original Matching Numbers engine and transmission as verified with a Porsche Production Specifications sheet (previously known as a Certificate of Authenticity) which is included with the vehicle. Service records from the prior owner are also included, showing a major service in 2017 of nearly $8k to bring the vehicle up to driving condition after a period of long-term storage. Mileage is displayed at 18,250 but is not documented prior to 1995 so we can only assume that it's not actual mileage. The car is completely rust free, but it does appear that there was some prior damage repair to the front end so it is not all original paint. Paint gauge readings are within acceptable ranges and show no evidence of excessive filler or other hidden sins. This will be a fantastic, unmodified driver to add to your collection and enjoy as often as you wish. www.switchcars.com Price: SOLD ![]() 2018 Porsche 718 Boxster with a 6-speed manual transmission and only 13,800 miles. The Carfax shows 2-owners with no accidents or damage reported. This is a non-smoker vehicle with 2 keys and all the books included. Still under the Porsche factory warranty and recently serviced, ready to go! Price: SOLD ![]() Price: SOLD ![]() This is a great driving example of a matching-numbers 1972 911 T with one repaint from its original Signal Yellow (114-9-1) color to what appears to be Tangerine. The car was delivered new to a Stanley Wyner of Pittsburgh, PA, and the original maintenance booklet is stamped with the first few services. While intermediate service history is lacking, the current owner had the car mechanically refurbished in 2016 at Porsche specialist Steinel's Autowerks to the tune of almost $11k. The full receipt detailing the work performed is in the documents section on our website. www.switchcars.com Price: SOLD ![]() This is a 1972 Porsche 911 originally delivered to a US Serviceman in Germany who brought it home with him. The second owner commissioned the build in the late 1990s to make a 1973 Carrera 2.7 RS style tribute. He began with a beautiful condition, rust-free car. All NOS body parts were used including steel front flared fenders, steel rear RS flares, steel rear bumper, and fiberglass front bumper and ducktail, and famed Stoddard Imports performed the restoration. The car was repainted in its original Light Yellow color, and it still shows incredibly well today, as if the restoration was completed recently, which shows the absolute top quality work which is done by Stoddard.
The original case was retained and the jugs and pistons were swapped out for 2.4L 911 S cylinders with 2.2L E-spec pistons for maximum compression (approximately 9.8:1). SSI heat exchangers, a high-torque starter, freshly-tuned carbs, custom ground cams and crank, and an electronic MSD ignition complete the package. 911 S front brakes were installed along with 930 tie rods.
The 13,253 miles shown on the odometer is claimed to be original, and will be sold with an Actual Mileage title and Odometer Disclosure.
The interior was redone with ST-style seats, RS door cards, and radio delete, retaining the original dashboard and steering wheel.
We commissioned a complete engine rebuild and transmission refresh prior to sale, in addition to the wiring being gone through. The car has completed its full break-in period post engine rebuild and had the 1k service done including oil change and valve adjustment. It is ready for the new owner to enjoy to the fullest.
This is probably the most original car ever used as a basis for an RS tribute, and while not an exact replica, it is a very well done hot rod and an absolute blast to drive at a fraction of the cost of a real 2.7 RS.
