1988 Porsche 944 track car.  2.5L engine paired with a 5-speed manual transaxle. Clean title car that is allegedly street legal (it is sold on a clean/clear Ohio title but may not be fully legal in all 50 states. Buyer is responsible for verifying). It was certified for NASA in 2013-14, with a log book. Originally red but was repainted Metroparks Green with yellow powder coated phone dial wheels. Converted to a track car around 2010 and has had the same owner since 2013 with only two track events. Odometer stopped working recently.

Modifications that we know about (not a comprehensive list):
Full welded rollbar
Sparco Evo driver seat
Corbeau Passenger seat
Sparco steering wheel with NRG quick disconnect
Schroth racing seat belts
Window nets
Bilstein suspension with adjustable front coils

1988 Porsche 944 Turbo S - great condition original car. The S model comes with a bigger turbo and the M030 suspension package, including adjustable Koni shocks front and rear. Clean history, all original paint, and a well maintained example. Freshly serviced and should need nothing. Tires are good with plenty of tread. The car starts, shifts, and drives smoothly with no drama. A/C blows cold, heat blows warm. Seat bolsters were redone from the fabric to leatherette, otherwise the car is as it came from the factory. Condition is very good for the mileage. Noted blemishes are the wear on the driver's seat, a few small nicks on the body, and stone chips consistent with the mileage. Dashboard is in perfect condition with no cracking or warping. Everything on the car functions properly. www.switchcars.com

1988 Porsche 944 Turbo S - A cut above the rest. Rare Alpine White exterior with Light Grey interior. Excellent condition inside and out. This car is ridiculously well documented. The maintenance booklet is stamped with the dealer services from new through 1992. In addition, ALL service records are included with the car. Not only that, but the original window sticker, as well as magazine articles, technical articles, and the original Porsche Technik brochure on the Turbo S are included, all neatly arranged in a binder. The car is completely up-to-date on service, having recently had a water pump and timing belt service, new tires, and fluids changed. The car needs nothing from a mechanical point of view. The owner was fastidious, to say the least. From a cosmetic standpoint, the car is very clean. The seats and interior are in excellent condition. The dash has only the SLIGHTEST crack between the defrost vents and the airbag cover - it is noted in photos. The rear hatch cover has the typical delamination around the edges. This is very common. The paint itself is in excellent condition, with no major dings or scrapes to note. It is almost all original, with the only evidence of paint/body work being a small area on the lower rear driver's fender behind the rear wheel. The car has all the original VIN tags on all body panels. The owner took great care to keep the car in great shape, which included replacing the stone guards on the rear fenders which are prone to yellowing and cracking, and also having the original wheels professionally refinished to look like new. The car is fundamentally stock, other than the welcome addition of an AutoAuthority ECU tune, which bumps the boost up nicely and brings it in a wee bit sooner. One of the best we've seen in quite a while. www.switchcars.com

1988 Porsche 944 Turbo S - Silver Rose edition. Excellent condition car that is up-to-date on all service. We originally purchased this car in 2013 through the shop who maintained it for the original owner. We have a copy of the original Ohio title showing that it was a one-owner car at the time. We then sold it a to a local client of ours who just recently traded it back in on a 996 Turbo. The car is very clean inside and out. The dash is in excellent condition with no cracks, and the seat cloth is in perfect condition; the previous owner sourced new OEM cloth and had it installed to address a tear in the seat cloth. The engine and underside are extremely clean with zero corrosion. The correct size Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires have better than 90% tread remaining. The car is completely mechanically sorted and need nothing as far as service goes. The A/C blows cold, the clutch feels great, and the Turbo makes excellent boost. The exterior paint is in very good condition overall - the only major pick being that the passenger rear quarter panel is experiencing some minor clearcoat fracturing, which can be common on these models. It was present when we bought the car in 2013 and has not progressed at all; it is only noticeable in certain lights. Turbo S models are becoming tougher to find, especially in original condition, and the Silver Rose is one for the driver's collection! www.switchcars.com

WOW - check out this time capsule! Final year of the base 944, and with the increased displacement 2.7L motor, and with less than 5k original miles. You read that right. Completely original and unmodified, all original paint, all factory stickers, and all factory accessories including spare tire, jack, tool kit, air compressor, books, window sticker, and all keys including leather pouch.

The car was delivered new through Stoddard Porsche to a local buyer, and it has remained in Ohio ever since. The service book is stamped with the original owner's information as well as a couple early services. When we acquired the car originally in 2017, we had a new Geba water pump installed as well as the cambelt and balance belt replaced. We have just performed a 2-year service in preparation for sale.

Come grab this amazing collector-quality 944 while it's still here!

1989 Porsche 944 S2 Coupe finished Stone Grey Metallic (LY7U) over burgundy interior. Only 40k original miles, verified by the Carfax and the service history. Factory 5-speed manual transmission. Same owner for the last 20+ years. This 944 S2 was regularly serviced and driven occasionally.
The Porsche 944 was produced from 1982-1991 before being succeeded by the 968. While the 944 Turbo model is considered the halo version, the S2 was the best driving model they made, featuring a 16-valve 3.0 liter 4 cylinder that made its way into the 968 model. Less than 9400 S2 Coupes were produced worldwide over the 4-year production run, and they have been gradually but steadily increasing in value over the last decade.
The car displays all factory VIN tags including the trunk-mounted option sticker, which shows the car to be Stone Grey over Burgundy partial leather interior. It is unmodified other than an aftermarket stereo head unit. All books are present and the service booklet is stamped with the first two owners’ information as well as multiple services. All accessories are present including the factory spare tire, jack, tool kit, and air compressor. Partial service records from 1993-2020 are included. The car is due for tires by age, as well as motor mounts, cam and balance belts, and water pump by time as preventive maintenance.

1989 Porsche 944 Turbo - Zermatt Silver over Black leather interior. Fully documented car in excellent condition. The 1989 Turbo is the same as the S package offered in 1988, but in the USA all the optional S items became standard for 1989. The ROW (rest of world) cars were still designated as an S in 1989. We bought this car from the second owner last year, who had owned it since 2000. The original owner resided in Virginia, and both of them serviced the car regularly and kept meticulous records. We have every receipt since new, including the original window sticker. We sold the car to a client in Massachusetts, who put about 500 miles on it, and decided he wanted a 911 Turbo, so we happily bought this car back. The car is all up to date on service, having received a new clutch and rear main seal in 2012, and a full service in 2011 (55,425 miles), including cam and balance belts, tensioners, a/d compressor, accessory belts, and fluids. We just had the belts re-tensioned at the same shop who did the major service, and who has been servicing the car since 2000. The car also has new Bridgestone Potenza RE11 tires all around, in the proper sizes. This is a clean, excellent condition example of an increasingly sought-after model. The front valence, hood, and fenders at one point were resprayed to address stone chips, but all factory VIN tags are in place on every panel - the car has never had any bodywork and all panels are original. The interior is fundamentally perfect with no bolster wear, no cracks in the dash, and minimal overall wear. The car is fundamentally stock with a few very minor variations, including a front Racing Dynamics strut tower brace, a later-year Porsche CDR-3 head unit, and an aftermarket replacement trunk cargo cover. The engine, suspension, exhaust, and brakes are all original and unmodified. The car is mechanically sound with no deferred maintenance and no immediate needs. All accessories, power options, and A/C function correctly. This car is ready for the new owner to enjoy! It comes with a comprehensive service history dating back to new, and it is complete with all books, complete tool kit, air compressor, jack, spare tire, both keys, and the original window sticker. 1990 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet - Stunning example in a very rare color. Porsche gave the 944 a significant boost in 1989 with the introduction of the S2, which boasted a 3.0L 16 valve motor which increased hp and torque across the board. The S2 also came with the smoother bodywork from the 944 Turbo, as well as its larger brakes. The Cabriolet was only offered for 1990 and 1991, before they switched over to the 968. Only 2402 944 S2 Cabriolets came to the USA during the two-year production run. This one is quite likely the nicest one you will find available. It has been owned and serviced locally, and is a well-known car by the local Porsche techs and aficionados. It was shown at many different PCA events, and the owners who cared for it really loved it, and of course stored the car in the winters. It's in completely stock, unmodified condition with the exception of the roll bar shown in the photos. He kept the original rear mats and rear panels so if somebody chooses to unbolt the roll bar it can quickly and easily be returned to stock configuration. The rare Baltic Blue Metallic with Linen interior is a very attractive combination, and is impeccably clean, inside and out. All service is up-to-date, and it has good records to back this up. A full major service was completed at about 26k miles, with the water pump and timing belt changed at that time. New tires were also installed. The car is complete with service records, books, all keys, tool kit, jack, air compressor, spare tire, top tonneau cover and storage bag, and original window sticker. This is a fantastic car that will please the most discriminating buyer. www.switchcars.com

1992 Porsche 968 with factory sport seats, well sorted and set up for track use while still comfortable for street driving with functional A/C and factory exhaust with cat.

I have all service, repair, and parts receipts back to 2002.
The car has been maintained regularly, being constantly checked and serviced. The BBS wheels have recent (2014) Bridgestone Potenza S02A tires on them with 90% tread remaining. New front rotors and pads were installed in 2016.
In April 2016 the car received a comprehensive inspection by a Porsche dealer along with a basic service. In 2013 the top end of the engine was rebuilt due to a camshaft belt tensioner seizing (the T-belt and tensioners had been replaced at regular intervals prior to this). The car was involved in a collision back in 2003 at 68k miles. It was repaired properly and the full repair invoice is on file.

The car also comes with a set of OEM 16" wheels with center caps.

This is not a comprehensive list of upgrades, but the best that I can determine from the receipts and a visual inspection:
Momo Mod 69 steering wheel; all adapters and spacers
Rennline Heel/Toe Throttle Extension Kit
Rennline Rubber Grip Aluminum Pedal Set
KLA Industries 968 Strut Brace
Braided Stainless Fuel Lines
Fabcar Control Arms
Delrin Bushings
Bilstein Cup Suspension
M030 Swaybars
Camber plates
Sport Clutch Kit
ECU upgrade
K&N cone air filter
18" BBS wheels
HAWK pads
