Excellent example of an unmodified and well-maintained 1996 993 in rare and desirable Arena Red Metallic. This car was purchased new locally and remained with the original owner until we acquired it from him in 2015. We sold the car to a regular local client of ours who just traded it back in on another Porsche.
The car is in fantastic condition inside and out, both cosmetically and mechanically. The engine is dry and the underside is clean since the car has only been a summer driver.
We have all service records showing that it was maintained at Fred Baker Porsche and Steinel's Autowerks and verifying the original mileage. The car is all stock down to the original radio, and includes the original window sticker, both keys, radio code card, all original manuals, complete tool roll with all tools, air compressor, microfiber rag, plastic gloves, spare tire, and jack.

Factory Options:
Arena Red Metallic
Frey/Black Interior - Partial Leather
AM/FM Radio Cassette Player
Torque Limited Slip with ABD
17inch Wheels w/Cup Design Rims
Full Power Seat - Left
Rim Caps with Porsche Crest

This is a great 1996 993 C4S that has come to us from the longtime sceond owner. It was originally purchased from Holtz House of Vehicles, a Porsche dealership in Rochester, by Joel Reiser, who is a well known Porsche specialist in that area. He sold it to the current owner after putting just 5000 miles on the car. He continued to maintain the vehicle for the buyer, who also had routine service performed at the local Porsche dealer. The car has always been garaged, and has never been driven in the winter. It is all original paint as verified with a paintmeter, and comes with a clean Carfax report. The car is largely stock with a few minor improvements. The owner had a Sony bluetooth radio installed and kept the factory unit for anyone who wishes to put it back to original. Joel Reiser also set up the alignment and installed lowering springs. The factory springs are included. Lastly, the owner had B&B mufflers installed for an improved exhaust note - the originals are included.
All service is up-to-date, and preventive maintenance has been performed along the way, including a steering rack replacement to address a fairly common leaky rack on these cars, a major air conditioning system service, and new valve cover gaskets. The car just had a major service performed in preparation for sale, and the receipt can be viewed in the documents section on our website.
Included with the car are the original window sticker, two keys (one OEM, one replacement key/fob combo), books, spare tire, jack, air compressor, complete tool kit, radio code card and radio removal tools, and original mufflers, springs, and radio unit.

Factory Options:
Black Interior - Partial Leather
Porsche Floor Mats - Black
AM/FM Radio with CD Player
Full Power Seat - Left
Rims Caps with Porsche Crest
Remote CD Changer (6-disc)

New! Check out this beautiful 993 C4S in striking Midnight Blue over Beige interior.

The odometer displats just shy of 90k miles, with detailed service history going back to 2006. Top-end was done at 65k miles, brakes and clutch also done more recently. The most recent scheduled maintenance was an oil and belt change in April of 2020. The power steering rack was sent out for rebuild in 2020 and at the same time the front tie-rod ends were replaced and the front bushings upgraded to polyurethane.

The car is nicely upgraded with Koni FSD shocks and M033 springs, along with an Aerokit rear decklid/spoiler.

Along with extensive service history, the car also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and reproduction framed window sticker.

Clean Carfax, very clean car for the mileage, the paintmeter shows readings of 8-11mil around the car other than the sunroof at 4mil, which tells us that it's been repainted, although it appears to be a very high quality job as we do not see any immediate evidence such as tape lines, blend lines, or overspray. The consistent meter readings also indicate that there is no hidden body damage.

Here is your chance to own and enjoy a rare and beautiful spec 993 that's fully serviced, without paying the premium for a super low-mileage collector garage queen.

This Guards Red over Beige 993 came to us from the second owner, who purchased it back in 1999. It is accompanied by all service records since new including a stamped maintenance booklet with the first dealer services. Included in the maintenance history is a top-end refresh and engine reseal in 2016 along with new Bilstein B6 shocks and HR lowering springs. We just also performed over $3k worth of service at Steinels Autowerks in preparation for sale. The car does have some prior paintwork and some clearcoat popping visible from close-up, but it is an accident free, clean Carfax car that is mechanically solid. The interior is very clean and the car is fundamentally stock. Notable options include the Motor Sound Package and Cup1 wheels.

The 993 Carrera S is special in a number of ways, not the least for being the last and, subjectively, the best of the air-cooled Porsche models, with a complete redesign and new 3.6L motor, along with being the first 6-speed manual 911 and the last handbuilt car. Only 1752 C2S models were produced, and other than special edition models, it was the only normally-aspirated RWD widebody car, making it a very rare and desirable combination. Weighing in at under 3100 pounds, this car is lighter than a new GT3, and as a result handles incredibly well.

This particular car is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with Midnight Blue interior, and is very clean inside and out. We put the car through a comprehensive detail, and also had it inspected thoroughly and serviced by a local Porsche specialty shop. I've personally put a few hundred miles on this car since taking it in, and it is an absolute joy to drive, and one of my favorites of all time, including the newer GT3s. All power options work and the A/C blows cold. Handling and steering is tight and crisp, and the car tracks straight. The car has no deferred maintenance and is up-to-date on service and ready for the new owner to drive and enjoy. It comes with all books, tools, jack, and original spare tire.

Black over Black Porsche 993 C4S with some very tasteful upgrades. The C4S was the pinnacle of the naturally aspirated air cooled cars, with the 3.6L Mezger motor, widebody rear end, and larger Turbo brakes. This car has some additional upgrades which make it a pleasure to drive, including a complete manifold-back Fabspeed exhaust system with hi-flow cats (smog legal in California!), Bilstein PSS9 coilovers, stiffer swaybars, and HRE aluminum wheels. The interior has an upgraded sound system with Kenwood DVD screen as well as carbon-fiber added trim pieces and Porsche Carrera 4 aluminum door sill plates (not originall optioned from the factory - added afterwards).

Shortly before our purchase the car was treated to new brake rotors and pads and new Michelin tires. In preparation for sale we had the car given a thorough mechanical checkover by Steinel's Autowerks and had the secondary air injection system cleaned and serviced. The receipt for this major service is in PDF format on the Documents section of our website.

Mechanically this car is in turn-key condition and it is a straight car with no underside corrosion and factory Cosmoline still present. Cosmetically it is a good driver quality, as it does have some wear consistent with the mileage. The car has a clean Carfax and no history of accidents but it has been repainted in its original color.

This is an excellent driver's car for somebody who wants to experience the C4S at a lower price point than a concours level garage queen. Buy, drive, and enjoy the upgraded handling and fantastic sound from the Fabspeed setup!

1997 Porsche 993 Turbo S - Glacier White over Beige interior. The Turbo S was truly the holy grail model of all the road going 993s, and the last hurrah of all the air-cooled cars. This particular example is a very clean two-owner car with less than 7500 original miles. The current owner purchased it in 2011 from the first owner with just over 4k miles at the time. The car is completely original and unmolested. The Escort passport system seen in the photos is easily removable. The car has all original paint on all metal panels as verified with a paintmeter. The car has a clean history with no damage repair. It's been lovingly cared-for, driven occasionally, and stored properly. The exterior paint is fundamentally perfect. The original finish on the wheels is very clean with only a couple marks on two of the wheels as noted in pictures. The interior has a few very small blemishes, the most notable one being a crack in the epoxy finish of the carbon steering wheel, which is a very common issue. The underside is clean with the original Cosmoline still visible. The car is complete with original window sticker, original underhood option code sticker, spare, jack, toolkit (which has NEVER been opened), air compressor, and books. Original Factory Options, as listed on the window sticker: Glacier White (Z1Z1) Leather Interior Deviating Colors (98) Porsche Floor Mats - Black Standard Turbo Equipment Leather Tray Behind Parking Brake Rear Window Washing System Carbon/Leather Steering Wheels Seat Stitching - Alternate Standard Colors Deviating Dashboard Stitching Deviating Center Console Stitching Deviating Door Storage Top Stitching Infrared Security System Digital Sound Package Remote CD Changer (6 Disc) Supple Leather Front and Rear www.switchcars.com
