Factory Options: www.switchcars.com Price: SOLD 1992 Porsche 964 Carrera Cup with a significant race history: The 964 Carrera Cup was produced in limited numbers for the European Supercup series, which ran before the Formula One races. The 1992 models received significant upgrades from the earlier models, including 18 inch Magnesium wheels, a power bump to 275hp, and the car now used the 964 Carrera RS body and sat an additional 20mm lower. This particular car was originally a Porsche VIP car, and was delivered on May 14, 1993. It was raced six days later by Mika Hakkinen at the Monaco circuit preceding the Monaco GP. At the time, he had never driven a 911 before, and he got in this car, took pole in qualifying, and won the race overall. He also ran this car at Budapest, also for a first place finish. The car includes copies of the Wagenpass showing all of its races, including Hockenheim, SPA, Nurburgring, Mugello, and more. This is THE car which many other cars copy with their livery. After its racing season, it was purchased by a Porsche executive who drove the car to work on a regular basis. The current owner purchased the car in 2002 through Willy Brombacher, who sourced the car from the same executive. It had been restored one time in Germany by FVD Brombacher but it was not restored to stock. The first restoration included many modifications, giving the car 320HP - about 50 HP over stock. In the fall of 2007, Fran had the car redone again. The work was done at Advantage Auto by Tom Florio with the help of Jeffery Ring and Joel Reiser. To return the car back to original, certified stock condition, everything had to be changed. The search was on for an original ’92 cup suspension. Out came the six speed transmission; back in went a proper 5 speed. The original engine threw a rod during a race, so a new case was sourced and built to stock specifications, and stamped with the same number to that the owner could continue to run in historic events. The car was now in showroom condition for a ’92 911 Cup Car. Also part of the stock restoration was retuning it to the original paint and Tag Heuer graphics from when Mika raced it. The only departure from original condition at present is the fuel cell in the front trunk and the front hood; the original hood with the underhood VIN and option sticker is included, as well as the original fuel tank. Please feel free to call or email with any questions. We welcome an independent inspection prior to purchase. www.switchcars.com Price: SOLD Beautiful 1993 Porsche 964 Cabriolet now available. This Carrera 2 Cabriolet has only 48,980 original miles and is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission. Painted in Guards Red with a black top and black partial leather interior. This car came from the factory with 16’ 5 spoke turbo design wheels, limited slip differential, Tonneau cover, headlight washers, and full power front seats.
Price: SOLD Porsche 3.6 Turbo - last year of the RWD single-turbo 911s, and the only year for US production of the 3.6L turbo. A very rare piece indeed, with around 1500 produced for the world (sources vary on the exact number). The 3.6 Turbo was a major improvement over the previous 3.3L in power, torque, handling, and overall driveability. This car sports the original Speedline wheels which were only available on the 3.6L Turbo. Finished in striking Black over Cashmere leather interior, this car is fundamentally stock with a few minor improvements and is numbers-matching verified by the included Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. All original stickers and VIN tags are present on the car, and all books, keys, and factory accessories are included in the sale. The documentation on this car is excellent, and includes the original window sticker, all service records from new, and the factory maintenance booklet stamped with early services. The few departures from original include a lowered ride height, TechArt sway bars, TechArt exhaust, and a documented bare-metal repaint of the front hood and rear quarters. This car has great service history and had a major service performed by noted Porsche race mechanic Mike Garriga at 45k miles, which included an engine-out service, new Bilstein HD shocks and struts, new rotors and pads, new spark plugs, and many more items. The service history on this car shows regular care and corroborates the original mileage. The vehicle has just benefitted from a complete top-end engine rebuild at Steinel's Autowerks, including new Mahle pistons and cylinders, all new rings and seals, machined heads, and more. This is a huge value proposition for any 964 or 964 Turbo. Factory Options: Price: SOLD Polar Silver Metallic over Midnight blue 993 6spd Coupe: Gorgeous example with a complete service history since new, up-to-date on all maintenance, and with a clean Carfax. The exterior paint is in very good condition with a few marks noted on the hood and minor stone chips consistent with the low mileage. The paint is all original except for the driver's rear fender and the rear bonnet. No bodywork has been performed on the car, and it is an accident-free car with a clean Carfax. www.switchcars.com Price: SOLD This is a fully documented 1-owner car in excellent condition. Rare Iris Blue exterior with Marble Grey leather interior, and the preferred 1995 OBDI setup prior to the pesky immobilizer keys. This 911 was purchased new in September of 1994 with 24 miles on the odometer and the owner opted for Tourist Delivery. It has been driven regularly and maintained properly by the same owner ever since then, and it has never seen winter, spending summers either in Florida or in storage. The Carfax and the huge stack of service records verifies the long-term single ownership as well as the regular maintenance. www.switchcars.com Price: SOLD 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe now available with 98,200 miles. 3.6-Liter Flat-Six engine paired to a 6-speed manual transmission. The exterior is finished in Polar Silver Metallic over Flamenco Red interior. The exterior and interior are in great condition for the age. This 993 was issued a salvage title in 2003 from a light front end accident (confirmed with the shop who has maintained the car since then). The car was totaled by the insurance company, bought back, and everything was properly fixed giving it a rebuilt title. *Please note the car currently has a clean title with no brand. This is not a result of title washing or anything shady, but simply because in Oklahoma a rebuilt brand drops off the car after 10 years. Financing Available Price: SOLD |
